It can be recalled that Taraba State government through the Group Managing Director/ CEO, Taraba investment and properties Limited released a memo “SENSITIZATION ON THE PROPOSED PRIVATIZATION OF MAMBILA BEVERAGES NIGERIA LIMITED” which therein he categorically state the reason for the privatization of the Mambilla Beverage Limited and promised Tarabans that the privatization of the company will be for the benefit of the state and the nation at large.

Most Tarabans are cautioning the state government on the purported selling and privatization of the company as it is the only big investment/asset that the state has and can rely upon.

Although it would have been advantageous for the business to have Mr. Timothy Fanya as Director/CEO of Mambila Beverage Limited, who is a graduate of the University of Maiduguri with a degree in Business Management (Marketing), a Master degree in Business Administration (Management) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). For the company’s existence, however, the situation is the opposite.

Neither Taraba State Government nor Taraba Investment and Properties  Limited have responded to the said petition. More to unfold…
